Association of Kenya Community Media Operators (AKCMO) was founded by a voluntary group of individuals, media practitioners, NGOs, and community media groups with an interest in development communications and promotion of community media in Kenya.
Kenya Media Working Sector Group KMWSG, which hosts media associations hold am meeting this month. AKCMO which is part of the members was well represented by the chairperson Mr. Daniel Waturu.
The chairperson represented community media in the days agenda to ensure that the voice of the community media is well heard at the national levels.
“The meeting was a success and honored for taking part in the issues that affect the media landscape of our country”.
